Georgia O’Keeffe

Georgia O’Keeffe was a famous artist that painted a lot of scenery in New Mexico. I went to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe.  I sketched some of the paintings.  She painted a lot of abstract landscapes.  Some of my favorites are Green and White, Mount Fuji, and Sky Above The Clouds.  Maybe we can study her paintings in Art Lit.  Have you seen any of her paintings?

I would love to see your sketches. It’s so cool to be able to paint or draw. You can do whatever you want when you are creative…there are no wrong answers!

This is awesome E! The painting you are standing in front of is so colorful and bright, are they all similar? Beautiful!

      Dear Danielle,
No, not all of the paintings are the same. She painted a lot of landscapes, some are bright like the one in the picture and some are just one or two colors. Do you like her paintings?
