Portland to Sun Valley

We left at around 6 p.m and got to Pendleton at around 10:30. Pendleton is home to the famous Pendleton Round-Up which is held every year in September.  It was founded in 1910 and has grown to be one of the top ten largest rodeos in the world.  My grandparents go watch it each year. The next day we got up and hit the road for Sun Valley. On the way we went through Baker City, Ontario, and Boise. We stayed at the Tamarack Lodge in Ketchum and then explored Sun Valley. We went biking, got some ice cream, and listened to the symphony. The Sun Valley Summer Symphony was founded in 1985. It’s the largest free-admission symphony in America.  Back in Ketchum, we ate breakfast. I got a croissant sandwich with egg and ham.  It tasted so good!!!

Have you ever been to Sun Valley? Have you ever been to the Round-Up?
